What carries over on a GTI
Your car, exactly as it is, redrawn into our race-poster layout: a giant number behind it, a black data band with an invented event and circuit, and your name. Badges come off. Everything else stays.

Does the red stripe stay?
Yes. The stripe is part of the car's face, not a badge, so it stays. The badge in the middle of the grille comes off.
Mine's a Mk1 or a Mk2. Does that matter?
No. Older hatches just need good daylight photos with the whole car in frame. Period wheels and bumpers are drawn as they are.
Will it look like a race car?
Yes. Touring-car posters are full of hatches. A giant number behind the car and a black data band with an invented event do the rest.
